2013 Open House, Expansion Celebrated

ROCK ISLAND, IL – Crawford Company and Monoxivent hosted a ribbon cutting and open house Oct. 10th at the company’s facility (1306 Mill Street). The company offered facility tours, had contests, games, prize drawings, food, and drinks. Crawford’s customers, vendors, suppliers, and community members were invited.
Crawford/Monoxivent recently expanded its’ facility by 20,000-sq. ft. and has grown its total employment to 105. The company now has 67,000-sq. ft. on 3.63 acres. The $1.7-million expansion included the new building, landscaping, and additional parking. The new building includes manufacturing, warehousing, shipping and receiving, and a state-of-the-art training style classroom. The project added a number of construction jobs to workers in a variety of trades. Support for the project came from THE National Bank, Quad Cities Chamber/QC First, the City of Rock Island, and the SBA (Small Business Administration). In 2012, company sales surpassed $24-million for the first time.
Crawford Company is a leader in the bi-state region for heating, air conditioning, plumbing, laser cutting, brewing equipment, and welding within industrial, commercial, and residential markets. Monoxivent produces indoor air cleaning systems mainly throughout the United States and Canada within industrial and commercial markets. Monoxivent also goes to market within the fiberglass reinforced plastics market through the UnderDuct and Corrosion Composites brands.
