Air Design, Inc. (Southfield, MI) Andrew Webster – Monoxivent Sales Representative
About Project:
An international automotive supplier is in the process of installing several Robotic, Protoype MIG Welding stations at its facility in Novi, MI. An upcoming test was going to be put on hold, unless they could install a ventilation system that could remove the dangerous fumes from the facility. Their requirements were that the fume exhaust had to be installed in 3 weeks from the go ahead date. Monoxivent was able to ship two 13’ x 6” #15136-TT Tube-Type exhausting arms in less than two weeks, giving the contractor, Macklin Mechanical of Fowlerville, MI ample time to install the arms, and accompanying ductwork. The customer intends to install 4 more arms in the next year, and are extremely happy with the performance and flexibility. The flexibility of the arms allows the technicians to source-capture the welding fumes based on the position of the welder, or the size of the job that is being welded.
This job was made possible by Monoxivent’s reputation, combined with the close customer relationship Andrew Webster at Air Design has developed with the contractor. The ability of Monoxivent to target this specific job, and understand the need to get these two arms shipped under tight time constraints, should lead to future orders at this facility.
